Waterproofing Membrane for Waterproof Decking

Jaydex’s waterproof decking systems are primarily for external walk-out activity decks, podium areas and external walkway/breezeway areas.

The Aquadex system is a complete trafficable system, whilst the bituminous membrane is used as an underlay in conjunction with our support systems for paving and timber finishes.

In some strata developments there is a requirement for certain standards to be met for vertical sound transmission between deck levels. In these circumstances extra sound reducing mediums must be incorporated. Contact Jaydex for specifications

Vehicle Deck

Asphalt/concrete deck finishes are primarily designated for elevated concrete vehicular deck areas.

These particular waterproof decking membranes are normally composed of an asphaltic screed being applied over a thick, strong Jaydex torch-on membrane that itself has been applied direct to substrate surface. This creates a combined heavy duty waterproofing / wearing course for vehicular traffic long term. In some circumstances a concrete screed is substituted for an asphaltic screed.
